Welcome to BruceAir, LLC

You’ve landed at BruceAir.com, home to a (mostly) aviation-oriented Web site operated by Bruce Williams, a flight instructor, writer, and aviation consultant.

If you have a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator as a Training Aid, you can now earn WINGS credit from the FAA by completing a short quiz. You can register for the free online course (really just the quiz) at FAASafety.gov. To learn more about the WINGS program, visit the same site.

Extra N105MM over the Desert

A36 Left Wing

Extra 300L & BE36

The Extra 300L arrived at  Boeing Field on June 17, 2010, a little later than usual, but we didn't have much good flying weather in May and June. It will return to its winter home at  Boulder City, NV (KBVU) in late September 2010. If you're interested in an aerobatic ride or stall/spin/upset training, contact me via email. If you have already arranged for training or an aerobatic ride, I'll be in contact soon to schedule your flight(s).

Please note that I do not offer aircraft checkouts, tailwheel endorsements, high-performance endorsements, or flight reviews in the Extra. The airplane is not available for solo flight.

Aerobatic rides and training are not available at Boulder City, NV (KBVU). Although I visit Las Vegas often during the winter, my schedule varies, and I am not currently able to conduct commercial operations there.

Remember, Every seat’s a window seat on BruceAir.

BruceAir’s Blog

Someday I’ll figure out how to integrate the RSS feed from my blog into these Web pages. (I’ve already read and experimented with the instructions posted on several Expression Web forums and blogs, to no avail. Why adding an RSS feed isn’t a core feature, I don’t understand.)

In the meantime, you can follow this link to my Windows Live Spaces blog.
