BruceAir, LLC is a consulting, training, and services company, specializing in aviation-related matters, owned by Bruce Williams. BruceAir is based in Seattle, WA.
Although I provided training in upset recovery, spins, and basic aerobatics for more than 20 years in an Extra 300L, I am no longer offering those services. But you can still enjoy videos on my YouTube channel (BruceAirFlying)–see the Stalls and Spins playlist.
I have been a pilot since the 1970s, and I have an extensive background in journalism, multimedia production, PC-based flight simulation, and technical writing.
I instruct at Galvin Flying at Boeing Field and through BruceAir, LLC.
I specialize in IFR training, flying technically advanced aircraft (TAA), and Beechcraft Bonanza models. I am an approved American Bonanza Society BPPP instructor.
You can find information about using PC-based simulations to complement flight training in my books:
- Microsoft® Flight Simulator as a Training Aid: A Guide for Pilots, Instructors, and Virtual Aviators, published by ASA.
- Scenario-Based Training with X-Plane and Microsoft Flight Simulator, published by Wiley & Sons.
I’m also an FAASTeam Representative in the Seattle area. For more information about this program, visit www.FAASafety.gov.
